Schools are open, tweets about the cold weather are out in full force and the fall beauty trends have taken over the runways and department stores. Here are our favorite looks as well as a few tips on how you can achieve them.
Pure Sophistication

Get this look by bringing attention to your eyes and lips. Your eyes should be done up in a smokey fashion and topped off with heavy liner and black mascara. The lips should be red and vibrant. Whether you choose a bold red or a wine color is up to you, all you have to do is find a shade (or two) that you love and feel comfortable wearing. This look is a favorite of many celebrities because it brings a lot of attention to the face. If you want to wear this trend to work we recommend going easier on the shadow, using mascara and using a darker shade of red on your lips.
Natural Glow

The 70s natural look is back and is perfect for those times when you want a little makeup but not a lot of color. To get the right look all you have to do is stick to a brown and pink color palette. You can use a touch of bronzer to get a healthy looking glow, but be sure to take it easy and not go heavy. A touch of blush to bring out your sheekbones is also a good idea but again don’t overdo it. Some shadow in pink or brown and black mascara will top off a nude colored lipstick nicely. If you need inspiration, take a look at Jennifer Lopez. She rocked this look for years.
Testosterone Rush

Menswear for women is back with a vengeance and can be done is a few different ways. You can keep it simple, go punk or add some sophistication. Use any of the above tips to go give your outfit an edge. All that’s left is getting a short haircut, spiking your hair or pulling back into a ponytail at the base of your neck.
The main focus of the trends is fun so be sure to keep that in mind as you do your makeup every day.
